Wensi Zhai
Wensi Zhai is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer. Born in Beijing in China, Wensi now lives and works in Helsinki in Finland.
Wensi holds a double MA in arts graduating from the
Academy of Fine Arts in China and later studying Environmental Art and Pattern Design at Aalto University in Finland.
Her practice includes graphic design, visual art, book design and editorial, packaging and advertising illustration. In 2018 she co-founded Shanghai Children’s Picture Book Research Centre. She has exhibited in and curated shows around the world including in the UK, Germany, Japan, Estonia, Finland and China.
